				Buffet near the Ťatliak lake One of our branch outside in the mountains is buffet near the Ťatliak lake, which could offer you the refreshment on the highest altitude in the Orava part of the Roháče. The altitude of the buffet near the Ťatliak lake is 1373 metres above the sea. Buffet is located on the end of the Roháče Valley, on the roof of mountains as Ostrý Roháč, Plačlive and Volovec. There is crossroads of hiking paths and roads on the place where buffet is situated. You can choose for example easy path to hike by educational route around Roháče mountain lakes and waterfall or also you can choose challenging way to hike throught difficult terain routed to peaks of Rákoň, Volovec, Ostrý Roháč, Plačlivé and other peak of the main edge of the Roháče. Near the buffet, circa 50 metres is the Ťatliak lake sitaueted. You can relax in the area around the lake and also you can watch rocky surface of the peaks Ostrý Roháč and Plačlivé and sharp downhill of the peak Volovec. There is also oportunity to use our offer of the food service in the buffet near the Ťatliak lake. We offer you a large range of goods as sweets, beverages. Also we offer you hot meals as soups, roast chicken, potato chips, and also our specialities as fried chees, roasted sausage and "Bryndzové halušky". Bryndzové halušky is slovak speciality... difficult to translate, better to try. Shortly: it is mix of noodles and light fresh cheese and bacon. Highly recommended for gourmets. If you need to charge your power to fight with mountains, we can offer you a large choice of chocolates which will be good to restore your energy. And if you are a beer lover, you can choose from choice of draught beer or bottle beer from the well known Slovak and Czech beer producers. You can be sure that our beer has unbelieveble taste after knocking hike over mountains and with the scenery of the surronding nature. Buffet near the Ťatliak lake will offer you also refreshment with sitting and shelter in case of bad weather which can find you on the hiking over the Roháče. There are some historical images and pictures of previous Ťatliak challet inside the buffet. You can see the pictures of historical building which was situated on the place where buffet is now. Sad to say that such nice building does not exist today because it was burnt by German soldiers in Second World War. Near the buffet is also memorial stone dedicated to pioneer of the slovak hiking and nature protection Ján Ťatliak. The memorial stone is located on the place where was the old Ťatliak challet situated. The Ťatliak challet and near lake are named after and are dedicated to Ján Ťatliak. The destination of the buffet is circa 1 and half hour of walking far from the Chata Zverovka lodge. On the path 5,5 km long you will climb circa 350 metres of altitude. And we are sure that you will welcome the refreshment in the buffet near the Ťatliak lake before you will hike to Roháče peaks.
